Baby M was only 4 days old when I took her pictures making her the youngest baby I have ever photographed (besides my own). She did so well letting us move her around. I got my first naked baby mishap. Miss M pooped all over her mommy.

We went to Nauvoo last weekend with a friend and decided to take advantage of the beautiful spring flowers and take some pictures. Little M is so beautiful I love those dark eyes and hair. And of course my little girl is the most beautiful of all.

Remember the beautiful smiley baby C from a month ago? I got to take more pictures of her today. She is so beautiful in her lovely blessing dress and it is the same dress her mommy was blesses in as a baby. I got to take more maternity pictures the other day. I wanted more practice with maternity so my friend so graciously volunteered. She is such a model and although she may not feel so cute I think she is one hot momma.

This cutie is only 2 weeks old and did great as long as we let her have her pacifer breaks. She loved to stare at her daddy and seemed to like sleeping on her tummy.

It was a struggle to get two walking one years to look at you, but with a little photoshop magic(one of the boys was holding a cell phone to get him to hold still you take a guess at which one) we a cute picture of these two little cowboys.

This is my beautiful one year old. I can't believe she is already a year old and so beautiful. My baby is the hardest subject to photograph she won't hold still and has had her picture taken so many time she just ignores me when I get the camera out.

Yesterday I got to meet my friends new baby and got the privilege of taking pictures of her and her big brother. She was a very good baby and allowed us to get some good pictures before she decided she was done.

We took a last minute family vacation to NYC right before Christmas and I had a mini photoshoot in Central Park with my 9 moth old while waiting for my husband. While I was taking the pictures some lady said that my daughter was like a model and asked how I got her to pose so well. All I can say is that we take enough pictures that she knows what to do for the camera and she is a very good baby.

This past weekend I went to KC to hang out with my friend and see her new baby. I had lots of fun and I got to take pictures of her sweet little baby. I had almost forgot how cute little babies that just sleep in your laps are.

So I guess word has gotten out that I can take family pictures and I now 3 more families that I am taking their family pictures. Here are som of the B family that I took today. It was raining but we all braved the weather and went ahead with the shoot anyways. You decide how you think things turned out, but with these cute kids how could things not turn out.

Flowers and such

These pictures were taken in Kalona Iowa. My husband and I went there one night and all the shops were closed so we just had fun taking pictures. I had just recently bought my new camera so was learning how to use it. I really like how the butterfly picture turned out. I just focused in on the butterfly leaving the rest of the picture blurry making the butterfly stand out more. The flower pictures were taken by my husband. I really liked how the benches looked in the light so lonely with no one around but I couldn't find the right angle, but my husband did so I can't take credit for that one either.
